The flight was a bit bumpy at times but we landed safe and sound at the airport, were everything went smooth and fast until picking up the bag, well actually nothing went wrong it just took a long time and after i got my bag i went to take a cab, i ended up taking a mini-bus some backpackers it was really fun but.... this town and it's traffic....
Lucky me got a window seat at the way from the airport, so during the time I wasn't wondering where we were or how the cars could drive here you could see a bit of Hanoi.
First impression was that they are building a lot, there are scooters every where, cows just walking free by the roads and gosh it's warm.
I don't know really what i was expecting but i don't think it was this. you can tell that it's a developing country that's growing but by the first look they still have some way to go. Not to say that the small market places and food shops on the streets aren't nice but I need to build up some courage to get out on the streets and avoid getting run over by a scooter.
Well after this kind of crazy cab trip through want felt like a big part of Hanoi (probably wasn't) I was dropped of at my Hotel. Where they wasn't really finished for me so made a attempt to walk around on the streets, but just ended up going in circles back to the hotel so decided to sit in the sofa by the fan until the room was ready. so at 9.45 local time could i check in to my room and i just went straight and crashed on the bed. It's not the biggest room, but the really nice people in the reception said that i was going to change room to a bigger one after 2 nights, but there is nothing wrong with this room only boring thing is that the window only show a stair.
Well the time is 15.30 here and I'm thinking I might go for a walk, trying not to get completely lost.
